Why Liminal Future Group ?
Firstly, in the last 3 weeks:
1. I got engaged to the best human! (and celebrated my bday).
2. We secured a 24km2 / 6,000 acre regeneration project in Brazil! We’ll be creating an impact innovation hub and organizing the first “Regenerative Burning Man” later this year, among others.
3. A humongous shift just happened in AI. At HOO KOO E KOO we’ve been helping build AI companies since the beginning and using GPT since 2021 but it has not been powerful enough to truly help… Until now.
4. I believe we can argue we are now at the brink of Age of Intelligence (after Age of Information). See my thoughts on this:
5. Business landscape will shift like not since .com boom. 4 days ago I started a #HustleGPT / #PartnerGPT style challenge, to dive deep and share my results. Key objective: understand implications for businesses we support (as clients and in our portfolio as Future Quest ). I decided to build in the open and share it all for a month.
UPDATE: I have since written about the results of the 30 days and my learnings from the challenge in a Medium post here. Looks like the project was the most successful HustleGPT!
Why am I sharing all of this?
Let’s talk the new plan!
I believe we’ve entered a situation where future cannot be accurately predicted. Not a singularity, but with all that’s happening: climate, war, AI, reshuffling of global power, we simply cannot make steady bets anymore.
Do we know if eg. Twitter will make it? Or whether people will be able to live in India in 10 years? Nope.
What we do know is we are somewhere in a space between heading for a total civilization disaster and a chance at a relative utopia.
We’re entering a “Liminal Future” if you will. See the image for how GPT-4 defines it (this one’s from the AssistantGPT, a new side-kick to PartnerGPT — more on our “hires” and a team of 6+ (so far only one is human) later!
In this Liminal Future, on a spectrum between disaster and utopia, our mission, is to drive towards the latter.
That’s why we decided to create a uniting structure for our orgs:

The new structure will strive to optimize processes, cooperation and build new levels of tech knowledge.
It will empower partners, clients and our portfolio projects like the 20 regeneration and climate tech Quests we fund and help accelerate.
